After a great deal of thought, debate, discussion, analysis and input from TRUE teammates, product testers and TRUE Friends we have decided to offer our first model - the TRUE Tour - in Fall 2010 at a price of $159 through TRUElinkswear.com.

The TRUE Tour will be available in four color options for $159.

While TRUE Tour Pre-ordering is not available yet, it should be live in a couple of weeks with shoes arriving sometime in October, we wanted to announce the $159 MSRP as it is a departure from our previously estimated retail price.

As you may recall, we had planned to offer our TRUEs in Fall 2010 for $189, but we received a lot of great feedback from interested TRUE customers that our price was quite a bit higher than they were used to paying for golf shoes. Although the majority said they would purchase a pair at $189, many believed that other golfers who may be interested in our innovative TRUEs could balk at the price, which would not be good for the company in the long run - "You guys better be around when I want to buy another pair!" - was a comment mentioned several times.

We love hearing from our TRUE Friends and we certainly listened, which is why we have established a price of $159.

Our goal at TRUE linkswear is to create a new hybrid golf shoe market that will allow thousands of golfers to improve their performance and comfort on the course while not having to change shoes before or after a round. We are not interested in living in a niche. Continue Reading

Per yesterday's blog - Ryan is heading back to the Wyndham Championship to defend his 2009 title.
He tees it at 1240pm EST on Thursday (off #1) with Carl Pettersson and DL3. Catch it on the Golf Channel.
His bag will be a bit different than last week at The PGA Championship.
